In 1429 AH, the Accounting Department was established alongside the College of Business Administration following Royal Directive No. 5150/MB, dated 7/3/1429 AH. which included the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister and President of the Council of Higher Education, aimed to provide students at the Northern Borders University with access to a range of scholarly departments. The Accounting Department receives attention from the labor market and offers an integrated scientific program in partnership with other scientific departments at the college and university.  The department awards a bachelor's degree in accounting, which is considered the basic foundation for practicing the accounting and auditing profession and preparation for obtaining professional fellowships. The department is planning to provide postgraduate programs, and intermediate diploma program.he department currently has distinguished faculty members with diverse experiences, and is awaiting the return of scholarship students. The department celebrated its first production at the end of the academic year 1433/1434 AH with the graduation of the first batch of male and female students.
